Well then...
We have been married for almost three years now. And I totally forgot about this blog before the wedding even. Being married isn't any different then it it was before we got hitched. Except now I get to call him husband and he calls me wife. We did that constantly for almost a month after the wedding.

Cakes, Flowers and eBay
Top covered by a single rose |
Cake
Well we decided to do a cupcake wedding cake with just one 6" filled tier on the top; so we can actually use the cake cutting set I bought last year. I'm looking now for ideas on how to decorate these with roses because the bakery lady said she couldn't do Stargazer lilies. Maybe I should ask Rich what his favorite color of rose is so not all of them are Fire n' Ice colored. Huummmmmm wonder if she could do single color lilies. Double Rose |
Possibility for the layered tier. |

Casablanca Lily |
Flowers
I figured out what flowers I want as well. Fire n' Ice roses are a no brainer. And to kinda match those colors there I was thinking Stargazer lilies, but Casablanca's might be cheaper. The florist should have some ideas on how to get a pop of blue in on the cheap as well. I think I might post pics of the lilies I like to get some opinions. I wonder how hard it would be for the florist get some of these Arena Orientals.Arena Oriental Lily |
Stargazer Lily |
eBay
I ordered my crinoline and some green, blue and clear bling. A new fan for the PS3. Oh and a veil from eBay yesterday. I wonder how long it will take the bling and veil to get here. Last time I ordered stuff from China it took almost a month and by the time it arrived I had almost forgotten I ordered the item in the first place. :P
My crinoline which I'm going to dye emerald. |
One of the veils I liked; it only cost me $7.99. |

Creative ideas for DIY invites
Well I'm still trying to figure out exactly how to make the invitations I got from HobbyLobby our own (my own). Picture of them below...
I like this idea with a few twists...
TWISTS
1. Make the folded over part pointed and held down with a self stick jewel.
2. Use my new eCraft and die cut the whole back layer not just the part on the front.
3. Print a pretty flourish in the invites and envelopes.
4. If I don't die cut the whole back layer I'm thinking about stamping and embossing a peacock feather.
5. Stamp and emboss the flap of the envelopes with the above mentioned feather stamp.
I already know I am changing the ribbon color to green. So any other suggestion would be most welcome. I will post any other ideas for our invites if I get any good ones.

Registries Galore...Or Maybe Not
I only have two gift registries right now. And both of them have some of the same stuff. Which in the long run makes it easier for those of our family and friends who don't order stuff online to get it in store as well. So without further ado....
